Kim Scott, Eminem’s ex-wife, was allegedly hospitalised last month due to a self-injury attempt.

“The Detroit rapper’s ex-wife was taken to a hospital on July 30 after she attempted suicide at her house in Michigan,” said a TMZ report on Wednesday, August 11. An anonymous caller had reportedly dialed 911 and police and paramedics responded. Officials were allegedly forced to detain Kim because she was a belligerent person.

Kim Scott was unable to get her vitals checked because she was reluctant and aggressive when medics came. She seemed to have cut herself, as she had several minor lacerations on the back of her legs, and there was a good quantity of blood on the floor.

 

Kim allegedly had a psychiatric assessment when she was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. As of right now, she is said to be recuperating at home, according to sources. The article also adds that it’s unknown if Em’s ex-wife is getting further care or therapy.

 

When Kim confessed that her 2015 DUI was really a suicide attempt in May of 2016, many were shocked. A utility pole had been struck by her black Cadillac Escalade, which she claimed she intentionally overturned while driving. After getting behind the wheel, Kim said that she had consumed a fifth of Malibu rum and taken medications.

 

When Eminem and Kim began dating in high school, they tied the knot in 1999, only to divorce two years later in 2001. The couple temporarily remarried in January of 2006, then Eminem filed for formal separation a few months later in April.

Hailie is the only child they share together.
