If you have sensitive skin, now is the time to take additional precautions.  Itching, redness, swelling, pimples, peeling skin, and dryness are all common signs of skin allergies. You may always seek therapy from a dermatologist. Your doctor may advise you to use an antihistaminic and a topical lotion. However, they have their own set of issues. You may also experiment with various natural treatments that have no adverse effects. We’ve compiled a list of natural treatments that may help you cope with skin allergies.

Oatmeal

This is a powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory effects. You may use it as a bath additive or as a mask. All you have to do is mix the ingredients into a powder. If you add it to your bath, make sure you thoroughly mix it with the water. Make a smooth paste out of the powder and water for a mask. Apply to your face and let it on for 30 minutes. Apply moisturiser after washing with cold water.

Sodium bicarbonate

This will correct the pH imbalance in your skin. It also contains anti-inflammatory qualities that will relieve itching and rashes on the skin. Simply combine baking soda and water to create a homogeneous paste. It should be applied to the afflicted regions and left on for 15 minutes. Apply a decent moisturiser after washing with cold water. Alternatively, combine 1 cup baking soda with lukewarm water and carefully stir.

Aloe vera gel

This plant’s gel may provide relief from itching. Simply cut a leaf in half and scoop out the gel within. Apply this to the afflicted area and wash it off after 30 minutes. It will smooth and supple your skin.

Neem

When it comes to skin issues, this is very beneficial. However, it is a potent cure. If you have very sensitive skin, you should first do a patch test before applying it directly to the afflicted region. Alternatively, you may add a few leaves to your bath water. Allow it to soak for a couple of hours before taking a bath in this water.
